Office of Academic Services

The Office of Distinguished Fellowships & Postgraduate Guidance offers assistance in all stages of the application process for major national fellowships and postgraduate support. They provide information on available programs, strategic planning, advice, and support for completing a competitive application.

Through this office, prospective, currently enrolled, and recently graduated students can learn about the many fellowships that are available through government, private donors, foundations, civic organizations, and corporations. Some of these programs are offered through Rutgers, while others are available through other universities and through public and private entities. For all of these fellowships and scholarships, faculty mentorship is crucial to an applicant's success.

This office is geared not only for students in their last few years of college, but for all students - from first-years to seniors - who want to pursue their academic goals beyond Rutgers through a national fellowship. All students are encouraged to take advantage of the resources of this office and learn about these fellowships early in their college careers. Likewise, faculty members are requested to recommend promising students of any year with strong academic records and breadth of experience to this office.
