The following are new and exciting courses and programs for SAS students beginning in Spring 2010. Please see Degree Navigator for course descriptions and program requirements.

SAS Signature Courses

SAS Signature Courses are special courses of grand intellectual sweep designed to introduce you to questions of enduring importance. They establish a common basis for intellectual exchange among students and faculty inside and outside the classroom, defining us as members of a common SAS community. These courses are taught by faculty recognized for their research who are also award-winning teachers. Each course is made of lectures and small discussion sections and count for various SAS requirements.

The three SAS Signature Courses for Spring 2010 are:

  • Eating Right: The Ethics of Food Choices and Food Policy
  • Global East Asia
  • Politics and Social Policy: Lessons from Europe

For course descriptions of each, please view the SAS Signature Course Flyer.
