Welcome back to the Fall 2009 Semester!

While you were gone, the SAS Faculty voted on and approved two important changes to the SAS Graduation requirements:

Do I need a minor with that?

Effective immediately, students completing the following credit-intensive majors DO NOT need to complete a minor in order to graduate:

Cell Biology and Neuroscience (146) Marketing (630)

Computer Science (198) SEBS Majors

If you are declared in one of these majors and you want to drop your minor, please let us know by submitting a Major and Minor Declaration/Change Form.

Can I use the same course to fulfill more than one SAS requirement?

Effective immediately, students may use the same course to fulfill more than one SAS Liberal Arts Distribution requirement. Degree Navigator has been updated to reflect this change. It's a good idea to check out DN before the end of the add/drop period!

As always, all SAS students must complete an SAS-approved major, 120 credits, and earn a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Got questions? Come see an academic advisor at an SAS Advising Center.
