The Office of Career Exploration and Success (CES) and Office of Advising and Academic Services (OAAS) staff are dedicated to providing programs that allow students to earn credit for their internship or co-op experience while developing their professional skills.

Rutgers Internship and Co-op Program (RICP): Students can earn 3 credits for an internship or 6 credits for a co-op. Credits earned are general elective towards graduation. Courses are offered in the spring, summer, and fall semesters. The course title is SAS Internship or SAS Co-op and the course number that will appear on the student’s transcript is 01:090:201, 01:090:202, or 01:090:203. The fall 2019 application deadline is September 6, 2019, by 3:00 PM (this deadline is strict).

SAS College Internship Program: Students can receive 1 E-credit for their internship. This option is available during all semesters: spring, summer, fall, and winter. The course title is Internship and the course number that will appear on the student’s transcript is 01:090:200. The course is graded on an S/U basis (Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory).
