First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS)

The primary goal of First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS) is to provide you with the knowledge and resources you need to write academic success stories.

Transitions are difficult, especially the transition from high school to college. With this in mind, we’ve developed engaging one-credit courses–taught by a select group of experienced Peer Instructors–that introduce first-year students to dozens of exciting fields and to a wide range of involvement, academic, and professional development opportunities here at Rutgers.
