When are you graduating?

You can find your declared year and month at MyGradDateThis is what prompts your record to be included in the senior database. Your review for graduation is determined by the year and month you have declared and must be updated as necessary.

  • A student is at senior standing upon reaching 90 total degree credits with a declared major (and minor, if required).
  • Remember that if you are repeating a course(s) with grade of D, you will not earn the credit again!
  • Changes can be made directly on the site.
  • Your graduation date should be firmly declared by the end of the semester before you plan to graduate.
  • You will be asked to verify the declared graduation date on your record in the fall and spring semesters. If it is not accurate, you must change it.
  • Graduation date adjustments beyond what is needed to complete degree will be denied.

Am I on Track?

Degree Navigator

Degree Navigator is a valuable advising tool, but it does not substitute for speaking with an advisor. It is a good starting point to review your record, but you should always meet with an advisor to be sure that you understand how your coursework is fulfilling your requirements.

Academic Advising Resources

Academic Advising

We are here to partner with you in understanding your degree requirements and creating a degree completion plan that achieves your goals.

  • Effective advising comes only from those authorized to give you information. NEVER rely on your fellow students for information about your degree completion!  Each path to graduation is unique, and what might be correct for one student is not accurate for another.
  • Major/Minor Advising: seek information about progress toward completing majors and minors only from the academic departments.  Don’t rely on just reading the website; this is your degree and you need to make sure nothing has been left to chance!
  • SAS Core and degree requirements: seek information about your total degree requirements and academic policies only from the SAS Office of Advising and Academic Services
  • If you are inquiring about something that is not routine, e.g., applying a transfer course toward a requirement or getting a waiver or course substitution, please get it in writing! This is a useful tip beyond graduation as well.
  • Calculate your GPA to ensure you meet minimum grade-point average of 2.000.
