A-Level Examinations

Covid-19 information: We do not expect to change how credits for A-level exams are awarded for students enrolling in Fall 2021. Any further updates will be posted to this page.

Degree credit is awarded for GCE Advanced Level examinations in select subjects with sufficient grades. We do not award credit for Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level or Ordinary (O) level exams or for grades below D.

Students must have an official examination report sent to the SAS Office of Advising and Academic Services at the address below:

SAS Office of Advising and Academic Services
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey
54 Joyce Kilmer Avenue
Lucy Stone Hall, Room A-216

Piscataway, NJ 08854

The following is a list of A-Level exams and grades, and the Rutgers degree credit that is awarded based on those grades. If your subject is not listed, please submit your examination report to our office to facilitate faculty review of the work for transferability.
