  • If you need a rapid response to a time-sensitive concern, Live Chat is your option.

When to Schedule an Advising Appointment

Long-Term Academic Planning:
  • If you have questions about declaring a major or minor, degree requirements, or creating a long-term academic plan, it's best to schedule an advising appointment. If you have specific questions about major or minor requirements, it's best for you to speak with an advisor in that program.
Career and Graduation Planning:
  • For discussions about internships, career goals, or graduation requirements, we recommend setting up an advising appointment as well as accessing appointments and workshops with Career Exploration and Success.
In-Depth Guidance:
  • Use advising appointments for comprehensive discussions about your educational goals, study abroad opportunities, or academic challenges.
