• Program Summary: Having a farm complex on campus is an integral part of the animal science program at Rutgers. You’ll take practicums and conduct independent research in the handling, management, feeding, reproduction, physiology, and behavior of dairy heifers, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and laboratory animals. You will have the opportunity to participate in internships that offer college credit for work in a variety of settings, including veterinary practices, pharmaceutical companies and other industry research laboratories (and we encourage international experiences as well).
